President on the State of the Union

Once again, the single taxpayer is getting the shaft. Not only will I pay the same rate for taxes and not use the benefits it creates, such as funding for our public schools, welfare for our nation’s children (I have none) and other programs, such as Head Start, but now it is proposed that the very people who utilize these services will get even more of a break--at the expense of those who don’t!
I think our tax code is patently unfair, discriminatory, burdensome and an utter disgrace for a nation that prides itself as a “model for the world to follow.”
