Veteran publicist Rick Smith has replaced John Oswald as the Rams’ director of public relations.
Smith, 52, was the head of public relations for the San Diego Chargers for 13 years, leaving after the 1989 season. Oswald joined the Rams in 1983 as an assistant in the public relations department and became its director in 1987.
