Tobacco Firm to Put Warnings on All Cigarette Packs: Philip Morris and R. J. Reynolds Tobacco will start putting warning labels on all their cigarette packages amid mounting criticism over sales of unlabeled smokes in some developing countries. Spokesmen for the companies said they hoped to have health warnings on all of their cigarette packages within a year. Health warnings have been required on cigarettes sold in the United States since the mid-1960s. Markets where no labels are required include the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, Lebanon, Morocco and Yugoslavia.
