Red Wing Coach Given Five-Game Suspension

Bryan Murray, coach of the Norris Division-leading Detroit Red Wings, was suspended for five games Monday by the NHL for failing to control a player.
Murray was punished because one of his players, defenseman Yves Racine, left the penalty box to continue an altercation in the Wings’ 5-5 tie with the New York Rangers Sunday. Racine was suspended without pay for 10 games.
