Sharp, Oracle in Mobile Computing Pact: Sharp Corp. and computer software supplier Oracle Corp. have agreed to work together to make it possible for Sharp Wizard personal organizers to exchange information with Oracle databases. The deal highlights an important new trend in computers: the development of very small, hand-held devices that can communicate with larger systems. Oracle said it will introduce in the second half of the year a product called Palm Link that will allow the Wizard--and eventually other palm-top computers--to plug into its database software.
