FileNet Reports Big Increase in Net Income: Aided by growth in international sales, Costa Mesa-based FileNet Corp., which makes document processing computers, reported Thursday that its net income more than doubled in 1991. Net income was $8.1 million, or 75 cents per share, compared with $3.8 million, or 37 cents, a year earlier. Revenue for the year hit $122.5 million, up 19% from $102.9 million a year earlier. Despite the recession, FileNet is benefiting from the growing use of computers to reduce paperwork at major corporations, analysts said.
