Lem Banker, one of the best-known gambling figures in Las Vegas, said he was interviewed by the FBI two weeks ago about possible point-shaving by UNLV players during last year’s Final Four.
Banker said FBI agents asked him specifically about the Rebels’ 79-77 loss to Duke in the national semifinals.
“I told the FBI there is no way (UNLV) would dump a championship game,” Banker told the Associated Press.
