General Motors Sparks a Variety of Grievances

Share

This story ruined my breakfast. The President of General Motors is cutting back domestically while continuing to expand overseas.

It seems to me that any car built outside the United States--regardless of its trademark--should be considered a foreign car. And any protectionism or other ism should apply to these cars too.

If we are going to “tax” the Japanese car makers, then the “Big Three” also should be taxed for cars that are built abroad.
