NOBEL LAUREATE: Francis H.C. Clark, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1962 in physiology and medicine for his part in the discovery of the molecular structure of DNA, will speak at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Cal State Northridge.
SENTENCING: A Palmdale man, convicted of killing and sexually molesting his 17-month-old goddaughter, will be sentenced Friday in San Fernando Superior Court. A jury has recommended that Ricky Lee Earp, 29, be sentenced to death.
