LOWER HUNTING: As the county’s housing prices drop, statewide costs have increased slightly. The gap between the state and county median prices for a single-family resale home has shrunk to the narrowest point in four years. . . . “There’s a lot of activity here in housing sales on the low end, but the more expensive homes aren’t moving,” Santa Ana real estate analyst Dick Poucher says. “Those homeowners have had to drop their price; it’s supply and demand.”
