Michener Magic
I was very disappointed to see the article “Michener’s World: Mad About the Matadors,” Feb. 2. Bullfighting is a cruel, inhumane and barbaric practice that is inexcusable. Michener quotes that trite old line that so many who like to kill animals use: “But I cherish the animals I hunt.” If they cherish the animals, then they should leave them alone, instead of harming them.
