VA Medical Care

Secretary of Veterans Affairs Edward J. Derwinski’s assurances to preserve the dignity and availability of burial sites for our departed veterans (Platform, Feb. 7) will be welcomed and appreciated by most veterans and their families. Serving to reinforce these sentiments and carry them further would be equal assurances that the same resolve and fiscal compassion will dominate decisions about VA medical resources for the veterans still alive.
