New H-P RISC Microprocessor Announced: Hewlett-Packard Co. announced a new version of its RISC microprocessor, the brain inside H-P’s business and engineering computers. The new chips, which will begin appearing in a variety of Hewlett-Packard computers late this year, will increase the performance of the machines by more than 50%. H-P Vice President WillemP.
