PLATFORM : Christian Against Christian

I am disappointed and pained that once more we have to see images on television and in the newspapers showing Christian pitted against Christian.

That there are differences in opinion among believers is no surprise to me. That there are varied interpretations of Scripture is no surprise, either. But that brother tears down brother in such a public spectacle and interrupts someone’s service of worship is what truly disappoints me.

Once again, the unchurched person must be saying, “Why would I ever want to be Christian if that’s how they treat each other?”

Come on, gang, let’s settle our differences out of the public eye. We can disagree all we want. But let’s not be an embarrassment to the very good news we bring to the world.
