Everything Must Go: In one of the larger group efforts of its kind, Auction Marketing Services in Irvine has put together a pool of 68 desert-area residential properties to be auctioned March 1 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
Total value of the real estate is pegged at $16 million--if all of the target prices are reached, said Susan Stevens, Auction Marketing’s founder and president.
Each property has a listing price in the auction catalogue--ranging from $25,000 for one undeveloped residential lot to $2.1 million for a large custom home--and each has an undisclosed minimum acceptable bid, or “reserve,” set by the owner.
