Iacocca in Hospital After Pulling Muscle

Chrysler Corp. Chairman Lee Iacocca was hospitalized in Rancho Mirage on Friday night after pulling a muscle in his chest.

Iacocca, 67, walked into the Eisenhower Medical Center complaining of discomfort. He is spending the night at the hospital for observation, a spokeswoman said.

Iacocca, who was vacationing with his wife, Darrien, in Palm Springs, apparently pulled the muscle while exercising, a Chrysler spokesman said.
