Not the Right Name
As the public relations council for Stouffer Presidente Hotels and resorts, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the article entitled “Winter in the Valley of Oaxaca--Is It Spring?” by Judith Morgan, Jan. 19. Its vivid descriptions of the hotel and its surroundings drew me in from the first line.
However, the author incorrectly named our hotel, calling it “El Presidente.” The hotel underwent a name change three years ago when Stouffer Hotels & Resorts acquired the property from the El Presidente hotel chain. The correct name is the “Stouffer Presidente Oaxaca.”
