ADVERTISING/MARKETING : Fountain Valley Firm to Represent 13 Ad Agencies Located in Europe

A Fountain Valley advertising agency--David, James & Roberts Advertising/PR--has been selected as the U.S. representative of an association of 13 ad agencies located throughout Europe.

Chris Rodriguez, a spokeswoman for David, James, said the association, called Eloquente, was especially interested in a member from California. The hope is to market high-tech companies in the western United States to European companies, and vice versa. Among the countries included in the association are Spain, Germany, France and Italy.

David, James was established in 1984 and had $6 million in billings last year, Rodriguez said. It has recently hired two people to support its European services and plans to hire additional copy writers and public relations specialists.

Rodriguez said David, James has experience working in Europe, especially Switzerland. An existing subsidiary, Europath, helps small and mid-size businesses set up their own subsidiaries in Europe.
