COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Chapman Doubles Down on Azusa
Chapman had four doubles and sent 10 batters to the plate in a six-run second inning of a 9-7 victory over Azusa Pacific in a nonconference baseball game Wednesday at Hart Park in Orange.
Jason White drove in the fourth and fifth runs of the second inning with a double, then scored on a single by Larry Stahlhoefer for Chapman (10-4).
In exhibition college baseball:
Cal State Fullerton 8, Tohoku Fukushi 2--Derek Fahs pitched six innings, allowing two hits and one earned run while striking out five and walking one for the Titans against the touring Japanese university.
