Some Slap Shots at Olympic Hockey
So Clark Donatelli thinks the U.S. Olympic hockey team was defeated in the semifinals against the Unified Team by the referee.
In the game I watched, they were beaten by a far superior team that outplayed them, out-skated them and outshot them on goal, 55-18. But for the great goaltending of Ray LeBlanc, the margin of victory would have been much larger.
It’s great to win, but if we have to lose, let’s go out with class--not a blast of hot air.
