‘Maybe the Rest of Us Can Learn How to Give’

Thank you for the inspiring story about Raphael Cordero (“Now, It’s My Turn,” Jan. 23). I cried and smiled all at the same time.

The kindness in this man’s heart is rare. The understanding he has for the elderly is a gift few people can give, let alone understand. He does it with grace and with love and gets so much in return.

There is no way to measure all of his accomplishments, except to say, maybe the rest of us can learn how to give a little of ourselves and follow this man’s lead.
