North American Scientific Signs European Sales Pact

North American Scientific Inc. in North Hollywood said it signed an agreement to have a German company distribute its products in Europe for at least two years.

North American makes instruments that are used as standards in the monitoring of utility emissions and other environmental elements, and it produces equipment that calibrates medical imaging equipment. North American is the main operating unit of a holding company, which bears the same name, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The company said it signed the European marketing agreement with Munchener Apparatebau Fur Elektronische Gerate GmbH. North American also said it has been approved by Southern California Edison and Baltimore Gas & Electric to begin selling equipment to those two utilities.
