Bruce W. Ballenger has resigned his partnership at Coopers & Lybrand to form his own consulting company, Ballenger Associates. The new firm is based in Westwood.

Ballenger, a 48-year-old CPA, has been in charge of Coopers & Lybrand’s Real Estate Consulting Group. He also was the firm’s Western region coordinator for the Resolution Trust Corp.

His new firm will specialize in corporate profit improvement, reorganizations and bankruptcy consulting for creditors and debtors.
