Bush’s Secret Aid for Iraq
Your series regarding George Bush et al . and their unending zeal to give more and more money to Iraq makes me sick. If I understand their motives, it was to mollify Saddam Hussein so that he would treat us nicely and “mend his ways.” We would be a lot better off if these so-called “representatives” of the people would redirect their energies and be just as tenacious in trying to get more funding for our schools and health care. I just can’t believe that these guys are so stupid that they would make the credit advances to Iraq a priority over the problems we face at home. It boggles the mind.
