‘Institutional’ Racism in Court
I find it totally, totally interesting that a case of the magnitude of the Rodney King beating for which four white police officers are being prosecuted in Ventura County would be handled by a rookie deputy district attorney sent by the Los Angeles County district attorney. My feeling is that if the officers were black, the best and most experienced prosecutor would have been sent to handle their prosecution.
This points out the total form of institutional racism being carried out by the top legal agency in Los Angeles County. It is designed for failure to convict the officers.
