A 14-year-old Irish rape victim at the heart of a crisis that bitterly divided Roman Catholic Ireland had an abortion in England, and samples of amniotic fluid were taken for use in a possible prosecution of the accused rapist, police sources said. An international furor erupted when the Dublin High Court barred the girl from flying to England for an abortion. The Supreme Court overruled the order.
