Sellers Can Get Expert Advice at April Home Fair

Share

Despite signs that the housing market is improving, it’s still a buyer’s market in most areas, and home sellers can use all the help they can get. And help is on the way.

At the third annual Los Angeles Times’ Home Buyers and Sellers Fair, Dian Hymer, author of the book “Buying and Selling a House in California,” will lead a two-hour panel discussion on April 4, just for homeowners anxious to improve their chances of selling at the best price.

Times’ columnist and real estate attorney Benny L. Kass will offer financial hints to sellers and discuss legal and tax aspects of selling a house.

The fair will be held Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The fair will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and is presented this year in cooperation with La Opinion, the nation’s largest Spanish-language newspaper.

Two full days of consumer-oriented question-and-answer programs will feature realty industry experts providing up-to-the-minute guidance on home buying, selling, mortgages and taxes. See ad on K12.
