Mexican Miracle Seen Intact Despite Slower Growth: The Mexican economy grew by 3.6% in 1991, below forecasts of 4%, the government reported, but analysts were confident the so-called Mexican Miracle remained intact. “Do we start worrying yet? I don’t think so,” said Geoffrey Dennis of James Capel Inc. in New York, who predicted growth this year of between 4 and 4.5%. The Mexican government also revised its estimate of 1990 expansion to 4.4% from 3.9%, bringing average growth over the past three years to 3.8%.
