Interns in Business: The World Trade Center Assn. of Orange County, under a new internship program, will bring graduate students from an Arizona business school to help local companies develop plans to export their products and services.
The interns will be graduates of American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Ariz. They will work with local manufacturers and service firms for four months for a small fee, said Victoria Biagiotti, the trade group’s director of member services.
“The perfect companies that would be interested in participating in our program are those that do not have a staff dedicated to do research work on a foreign market,” she said.
Starting in May, Biagiotti said, the center hopes to place seven students with several local companies.
