The Guest Book: Actor Meshach Taylor’s character of Anthony falls hard for guest star Jackee in the final “Designing Women” episode of the season which will air during the May sweeps. The two talk of marriage and Jackee seems poised to take over the women’s interior design business as the end credits roll, leaving a cliffhanger of sorts to be resolved in the fall. . . . In an upcoming Perry Mason movie, talk-show host Geraldo Rivera appears as a controversial talk-show host who is found murdered after the release of his revealing autobiography which contains shocking details of his affairs with several prominent women. Rivera, of course, ruffled lots of feathers when he described his own sexual encounters in a recent book.
