Postal Service Expands: Only a few months after it bought nearly 20 acres of land in Aliso Viejo to build a state-of-the-arth mail processing facility, the U.S. Postal Service is already expanding its domain in South County.
The Postal Service recently signed a five-year lease for $919,000 for a 21,600-square-foot building in the Focus Business Center, a new industrial park in Aliso Viejo. Focus Business Center is next to Pacific Park, a 900-acre business center in which the Postal Service bought land last year.
Construction of the regional distribution center is expected to begin this summer and conclude by the fall of 1993.
