Hilton Hotels Wins Appeal: Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corp. said the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit reversed a 1989 verdict that awarded about $45 million in damages to 37 Las Vegas Hilton employees who were terminated in 1983. According to a Hilton Hotels spokesman, the former employees originally filed the suit in 1984 after they were terminated at the hotel-casino. The charges included discrimination and breach of contract.
