4 Wounded by Police in Kenya’s Unrest

NAIROBI, Kenya —
Four people were shot and wounded Thursday in the western Kenya town of Kisumu when police fired to disperse crowds during a second day of unrest in the town, local journalists said.
The unrest reflected rising political tensions in Kenya, where the government of President Daniel Arap Moi and recently legalized opposition parties have exchanged increasingly bitter accusations of foul tactics in recent weeks.
