Court Rules Against Ford on Bronco II: A state judge in Texas has ruled that Ford Motor Co. must make public its records involving reports of Bronco II rollovers in a case that could become the first major test of a new public safety law. Attorneys representing Bronco II rollover victims had asked the judge two weeks ago to rule on whether Ford may keep private any documents that may point out deadly flaws in the vehicle’s design. Texas District Judge Ann Cochran refused to seal any documents that “have a probable adverse effect upon the general public health and or safety.”
