MUSICAL DEJA VU: Local musicians remember how hard it is to get a career started, says Keeran Reidling of the Orange County Musicians’ Assn. That’s why the union holds an annual concert to raise college scholarship money. Candidates have to submit a tape of their work--the application deadline for this year is Friday--in either classical, jazz or contemporary music. . . . “There aren’t a lot of scholarships for musicians, like say, in science,” Reidling says. “Last year we helped send two to Juilliard; not bad.”
