Pic ‘N’ Save of Southern California is changing its name because of Pic N’ Save of Jacksonville, Fla.
What’s the difference?
Just one apostrophe, and that’s not enough, says the picky Jacksonville firm.
Under an agreement reached last year, Pic ‘N’ Save Corp. is renaming 121 of its 193 stores Mac’s Frugal Bargains-Closeouts. Most of its Southern California stores will keep the Pic ‘N’ Save name.
What does McDonald’s Corp. think of all this? The name Mac Frugal is under study, said spokeswoman Ann Connolly.
