Masi to Head a Unit of Intel

Santa Clara-based Intel Corp. announced the appointment of Ed Masi as president of its Supercomputer Systems Division, headquartered in Beaverton, Ore.

Masi, 44, is also being recommended for election as an Intel corporate vice president at the company’s next board meeting.

Before joining Intel, Masi spent the last 12 years at Cray Research Inc., where most recently he was executive vice president of sales, service and marketing.
