The Pros and Cons of Death Row

Share

Rutten writes about Robert Alton Harris and capital punishment seemingly with more concern and sympathy for the brutal murderer than for the innocent victims.

Killing Harris is not morally equivalent to the murders he committed. Harris murdered two innocent boys, while the death penalty will be killing a man who has lost his right to continue living.

Even in the worst of prisons, Harris would still have certain moments of life that he can enjoy which the two boys he murdered will never have again.
