MCI Communications Corp. has named Victor Maxted vice president of western region operations.
San Francisco-based Maxted, 51, is responsible for managing MCI’s network operations and overseeing maintenance and expansion of switch and transmission sites in 13 Western states.
Most recently, Maxted was a principal of VMC Consultants, a technology management firm in the Bay Area.
