Steven R. Kay has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer of Woodland Hills-based Amwest Insurance Group Inc. and of its two insurance subsidiaries, Amwest Surety Insurance Co. and Far West Insurance Co.
Kay had been an audit partner in the Los Angeles office of KMPG Peat Marwick.
