Scattered Showers to Dampen County

Scattered showers were predicted for Orange County today, but forecasters said no more than a quarter of an inch was expected.
Rick Dittmann, a meteorologist with WeatherData Inc., which provides weather information to The Times, said that thunderstorms may develop over the county’s mountains or interior flatlands.
