SINGLED OUT: Former POW James Bond Stockdale, who has agreed to be Perot’s “interim” running mate (A19), was singled out by then-U.S. Sen. Pete Wilson at a 1987 Irvine ceremony for 150 Medal of Honor winners. “They broke Jim’s limbs in the Hanoi Hilton; they never broke his spirit,” said Wilson, now governor and a Bush supporter. . . .
