WHERE’S JONES? Orange County’s growing Vietnamese population...
WHERE’S JONES? Orange County’s growing Vietnamese population is latching onto the American dream: owning your own home. A San Diego County database company checked names of 1991 house and condo buyers. Californians with surnames of Smith and Johnson bought more homes than anyone else--except here. Vietnamese named Nguyen bought 456 houses here, more than Smiths, Johnsons and Joneses combined. Vus, Phams, and Trans also made the top 13--all Vietnamese.
