LSI Logic to Unveil New Technology: LSI Logic Corp. will unveil a new technology today for building ultra-powerful computer chips that the company says will be strong enough to put it ahead of Japanese competition. Officials at the Milpitas, Calif., semiconductor concern say they will now be able to design a “computer on a chip”--where millions of transistors can be packed onto a single unit.
