The second forum, on Monday at 7 p.m. at Las Colinas School, will center on plans for the existing Mission Oaks and Woodcreek parks and the planned Quito Park.

Committee members will discuss plans for all parks in Camarillo at the final forum April 30 at 7 p.m. at the Senior Center.

The committee, formed this year, is charged with studying the district’s needs and finding a way to fund development of a $4-million, 30-acre park and three new neighborhood parks.

Plans for the large park include a community center, swimming pool, six lighted tennis courts, six softball fields (three lighted and three unlighted), a group picnic area, volleyball courts, a jogging path, basketball courts and soccer fields.

The park will be established on the 10-acre Mission Oaks Park and extended to 10 adjacent acres and the Las Colinas School playing fields.
