Share

Santa Paula residents and former gang members are planning a march and rally to discourage youths from joining gangs and abusing drugs and alcohol.

The event, scheduled April 25 in Santa Paula, will feature testimonials from ex-gang members and is expected to draw 200 to 300 members of eight Southern California churches.

The noon march will begin at Las Piedras Park and end at Veterans Memorial Park, according to Pastor Noel Escajeda of New Harvest Christian Fellowship in Santa Paula.
