All registered Democrats living in the 23rd Congressional District may attend caucuses to elect delegates for presidential candidates Bill Clinton and Edmund G.(Jerry) Brown Jr. on April 26 at 3 p.m.

The Clinton caucuses, which will be at the Communication Workers of America hall, 399 Aviador St., Camarillo, will kick off Clinton’s California campaign, campaign worker Jack Theimer said. The Brown caucuses will be at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers hall, 3994 E. Main St., Ventura.

The 23rd District includes Carpinteria and all of Ventura County except Thousand Oaks. Voters at each caucus will choose four delegates and one alternate to represent their candidate at the Democratic National Convention.

The actual number of delegates per district that will attend the convention will be based on the percentage of total votes each candidate garners in each district in the California primary on June 2.
