Diceon Suffers $3-Million Loss: Diceon Electronics Inc., an Irvine-based computer circuit board manufacturer still struggling through the recession and an industry glut, reported a loss of $3 million for its second quarter ended March 28.

The company lost $2.6 million in the same period a year earlier. On a per-share basis, Diceon lost 58 cents in the quarter, compared to 51 cents a year earlier.

Revenue dipped 2% to $25.9 million for the quarter, compared to $26.5 million a year earlier. The company called the results “unacceptable.” It blamed the showing on a poor mix of products, weak demand and continued price wars due to excess capacity in the industry.
