Man Receives Bills, Stabs Mail Carrier

A man apparently upset over getting bills stabbed the mail carrier in the back with a steak knife, police said.

Raymond Bell, 35, was finishing deliveries to an apartment complex Tuesday when the assailant walked up behind him and stabbed him in the upper back. Bell was treated at a hospital and released.

Robby Doyle Calhoun, 30, surrendered to police and was charged with attempted murder and assaulting a federal worker. He was held without bail.
