A fifth guest orchestra visiting Hollywood Bowl this summer, complete lineups in the amphitheater’s five-concert Jazz series and five-event Virtuoso Series, plus program details for the entire 71st Cahuenga Pass season were revealed Thursday by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Assn. at a press luncheon.

Added to the list of guest ensembles playing at the Bowl while the Los Angeles Philharmonic spends a month in Austria at the Salzburg Festival, is the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra, conducted by John Williams. The Esplanade Orchestra, Boston’s second pops instrumental ensemble, will appear Aug. 9 on the three-concert Sunset Concerts, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

For the 13th summer, Jazz at the Bowl will again be performed on Wednesday nights at 8. The celebrated Ella Fitzgerald, with a “special guest,” begins the series, July 15. On July 29, an evening of Brazilian jazz features musicians from that country, led by harmonica virtuoso Toots Thielemans. A “Hot Night of Blues,” Aug. 12, offers performances by veteran blues guitarist John Lee Hooker and his Coast to Coast Blues Band.

In addition to Julio Bocca, the dancers will include Judith Fugate, Eleanora Cassano, Cynthia Harvey, Evelyn Cisneros and Tony Randazzo. They will be assisted by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by John Mauceri.
